Diwali 2021: Amitabh Bachchan Embraces The Festivities With Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, And Other Family Members

The enlightening festival of Diwali is still spreading its radiance as celebrities share photos of their festivities with friends and family. Many b-town superstars took to social media to show off their stunning festive attire and to wish their fans with their celebration photos. Joining the list is megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The Pink actor celebrated this year’s Diwali with only his closest friends and family. Unlike previous years, when tinsel town stars would descend to his home Jalsa to rejoice the festival, this year only the Bachchan family feted Diwali together.
Amitabh Bachchan was accompanied by his children, Abhishek Bachchan, and Shweta Nanda. The two were joined by members of their respective families, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, Navya Naveli, and Shweta’s sister-in-law Natasha Nanda. Big B took to his social media while sharing this family portrait with his followers. he captioned this beautiful picture that read “Family prays and celebrates together,” and also wished his fans and followers, saying, ‘May this auspicious festival bring you joy and happiness.’
The Pink actor had previously tweeted a photo of his Festivities with family. He tried to compare it to an older photo of himself with Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek, and Shweta while sharing it. The two photos clearly show that Big B is closer to Shweta while Abhishek is the apple of his mother’s eye.

On the professional front, Amitabh is currently hosting the 13th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, a reality quiz show. Amitabh Bachchan will play a pivotal role in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra (2019), which will be produced by Karan Johar. The film will star Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Big B. Jagraj Manjule, best known for his Marathi blockbuster Sairat, makes his Hindi directorial debut with Jhund, starring Big B. The actor will play a retired physical education teacher who starts a slum soccer motion. The Sholay actor will also star in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood movie, The intern, starring Deepika Padukone opposite him.
