Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: John Krasinski Poised To Play Reed Richards AKA Mr. Fantastic? Fans Begging For It
HollywoodLeaks from the set of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness say that fan favourite John Krasinski has been cast as Mr Fantastic in the film, according to a new rumour
Marvel movies can elicit a wide range of emotions, including happiness, wrath, exhilaration, and grief. They can take you on a full-fledged roller coaster trip that will be well worth your time. What started as a fan-casting could soon become a reality. According to unconfirmed reports, actor John Krasinski is poised to play Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in the next Marvel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a role that fans have begged for him to play.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a component of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it follows Doctor Strange as he deals with the fracture of the manifold induced by his disastrous curse in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Given the movie’s multidimensional concept, it was previously claimed that the movie would have appearances from a number of actors portraying various versions of well-known Marvel characters.
According to a fresh leak from The Illuminerdy, one of the sightings will involve Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, who will be portrayed by John Krasinski of The Office and Jack Ryan. Since Marvel Comics created a scruffy rendition of the superhero that resembled the star a few years ago, John has become a fan favourite for the part. There have been countless requests and even fanfiction depicting John as Mr. Fantastic, but no definitive word from Marvel has ever been received.
Earlier this year, it was reported that John had been cast as Mr. Fantastic in the picture, with his wife Emily Blunt cast as his subject’s spouse Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman. Emily, on the other hand, was swift to debunk these rumours. Emily had declared on The Howard Stern Show in May 2021, “That is fan-casting.” There hasn’t been a telephone conversation. That’s just people thinking, ‘Wouldn’t that be fantastic?'”
However, such denials are no longer meaningful to Marvel fans. After all, Andrew Garfield angrily disputed becoming a part of Spider-Man: No Way Home for two years and finally popped up in the film.
