Dr Shriram Nene Responds to the ULTIMATE Question – Covaxin or Covishield?

Dr Shriram Nene often takes to his social media to spread awareness about health-related things, share personal updates and much more. Countless Indians have wondered which COVID-19 vaccine is better to be taken amongst Covishield and Covaxin. After being asked about this a lot, Dr Nene recently took to his Instagram handle to share his opinion on the matter.

Many people have questioned which vaccine is better from the two options available in India – Covishield and Covaxin. Dr Shriram Nene, who is a wellness social media influencer along with being a board-certified surgeon, voiced his take on the matter, not too long ago. Heading to his social media, he shared a Reels video stating how he had been asked about it a lot. Dr Nene revealed in the video that he believed that one should get either one of the two that they found available.

He added that both vaccines are FDA approved and how they also had been evaluated via major testing. According to Dr Nene, and many others too, the side effects that the vaccines cause are considerably very minor when compared to the immense benefits that they are showing once being received by people. Additionally, he stated that these benefits were evident through the noticeable decrease in severe and critical cases, and possible fatalities. He urged people to get their COVID-19 vaccines at the earliest.

Dr Nene also shared other Reels videos surrounding the COVID-19 subject. In another video, he was seen demonstrating how to wear face masks to ensure optimum safety. He stated that wearing 2 cloth masks could be the best while one N95 mask would work extremely well too.
