Gal Gadot says she was “shocked” by the way this director spoke to her

Gal Gadot aka Wonder Woman who never fails to shock us is herself shocked when she met with Justice League director Joss Whedon during reshoots for Warner Bros.’ Justice League. Gal Gadot talked about her experience in detail in a recent interview with a news portal when director Joss Whedon endangered her career.

Joss Whedon’s behaviour is shocking

She was taken aback by the manner Joss Whedon addressed her. She also claims that she felt dizzy because she couldn’t believe he just said this to her, and that if he says it to her, he must say it to a lot of other people.

Her Justice League co-star Ray Fisher has made his own complaints about Whedon’s behaviour, and a number of stars from Whedon-led television shows, such as Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, have accused the filmmaker of toxic on-set behaviour. The actress previously claimed that Whedon threatened her career, saying that if she did anything, he would ruin it.

Fisher’s allegations prompted a WarnerMedia inquiry into Whedon’s behaviour, which included interviews with numerous actresses who had previously worked with the director, including Gadot. Fisher’s original charges elicited no response from Whedon.

Aside from Fisher’s charges, the actress pondered if he would have told her what he told her if she had been a guy. She felt extremely strong after the incident, and she is glad that she stood up and said that wasn’t okay.

After Zack Snyder was forced to step down, the Wonder Woman star collaborated with Whedon on the 2017 DC blockbuster Justice League, which he directed. Gal’s most recent appearance was in Wonder Woman 2, which came out in December 2020. She will reprise her role as Wonder Woman in Wonder Woman 3 and will also act alongside Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson in Red Notice. Death on the Nile, her film, is also set to be released.
