Jennifer Lawrence is under immense pressure and trauma post her pictures being used without her consent
HollywoodJennifer Lawrence says the agony of seeing her personal pictures circulated around without her permission, has harassed her mentally and she feels this will be an inevitable loss for her for a lifetime.
2014 was a dreaded year for many top-notch, almost to the tune of 500 celebrities when hackers had leaked and posted personal pictures of many famous Hollywood celebrities on a website, which was on display for the world to see it. Even as no such action was taken, actors whose photos went viral in a matter of seconds, are still not getting over the impact it has had on their lives. Many celebrities like Selena Gomes, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lawrence amongst the many are still under the scanner of self-damage it has done to them.
Jennifer Lawrence has now become vocal on this and says that the trauma of her nude pictures which are still available online, has been tormenting her every day. She says she is aghast and the mental stress it has given her, will last her a lifetime. She agonises how her naked photos have been taken up by anyone and everyone, without her consent, and people and agencies use them. She feels that this is a sex crime and sexual violation of her personal rights, as her nude pictures have been recently used by someone in France, who has published it without her permission. The Hunger Games’ actor feels hurt and used, each time she comes across her personal pictures somewhere. While we empathise with the actor, it is quite shocking as to why no action has been taken with the pictures which are still under circulation. Jennifer, is upset that at any time of the day, anywhere, her pictures are being enforced upon.
Jennifer, who has also had a near-death experience in 2017, when two engines of the private jet had failed, while traveling from her hometown to New York City, and she had panicked thinking that they were all going to crash. Frantically, she had sent voice messages to her family members, even apologizing for anything that might have gone wrong from her side.
However, the actor is now kicking and alive post the ordeal, and is now busy promoting her upcoming venture ‘Don’t Look Up’ with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, and a huge cast ensemble. The film is a science fiction, black comedy.
