Jothe Jotheyali 20 August 2021 Written Update: Aryavardhan rushes after Anu

In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, the occultist hands Priya the turmeric paste she got for Anu and Aryavardhan. During the ‘haldi’ ceremony, everyone teases Anu and Aryavardhan when they try to get a sneak peek at each other.

In the next episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Sharada Devi insists that Priya be the first person to apply the turmeric paste to Aryavardhan. Mansi talks to Sharada Devi about the importance of applying turmeric during the pre-wedding rituals. Harshavardhan talks to the chawl residents about the science behind turmeric and his plan to grow a new type of turmeric.

Anu has strange flashes of memories when Pushpa applies the turmeric paste given by the occultist, to her. Meera gets upset when Sharada Devi asks her to apply turmeric to Aryavardhan. Anu suddenly stops Pushpa while she pours turmeric water on her. Furthermore, her stranger behaviour and claims that she is already married leaves everyone shocked.

Pushpa gets worried when Anu asks everyone to stop the rituals and leaves the ‘haldi’ ceremony mid-way. Anu’s behaviour and sudden departure shock Aryavardhan and the others. Meera gets furious when Jhende suspiciously looks at her. The occultist stands outside the wedding venue and prays that Anu’s wedding takes place without any hindrance and talks about how the truth will be revealed no matter what. Later, Aryavardhan rushes after Anu.
