Jothe Jotheyali 27 August 2021 Written Update : Aryavardhan participates in Anu’s ‘bale’ ritual

In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, we saw how Aryavardhan manipulates the games arranged by Meera to his advantage. Anu is unable to hide her smile when according to her challenge Aryavardhan applies ‘mehendi’ to her palm, unknowingly starting a romantic trend. We also saw Hosamani playing a beautiful melody on his flute but is stopped by Jhende who reminds him of a past warning and very secretively updates Hosamni about his son’s well-being.

In the next episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Aryavardhan remains adamant about Anu calling him by his name, as even though they are getting married, she continues to call address him as ‘Sir’. Anu tricks Aryavardhan when he tries to kiss her. The next day, when Anu gets ready for the next wedding ritual, Ramya teases her when she states that Aryavardhan will again fulfill the ritual by helping wear a bangle.

Aryavardhan gives a really expensive gold necklace to Anu while Meera watches them and imagines herself in Anu’s place. Anu notices Meera and calls out to her and to save herself from embarrassment, Meera tells the couple that she came to ask them to join the ritual. Furthermore, Meera gets emotional when Anu and Aryavardhan thank her to taking care of all the wedding requirements and keeping all the rituals going seamlessly. To save face, Meera suddenly leaves when she receives a call, which turns out to be from Jhende. Meanwhile, Anu is surprised when Aryavardhan talks about how Meera will always keep coming wherever they are. Seeing that Anu is getting upset, Aryavardhan tries to cheer her up by indirectly praising her by praising the necklace he gave her.

At the venue, Harshavardhan continues to fret about the white elephant’s delayed delivery. Subbu and Prabu Desai come across Aryavardhan when he roams around searching for Anu. They then tease him when he shows eagerness about sneaking into Anu’s ‘bale’ ceremony. Before the ceremony starts, Anu performs the ‘Gauri Puja’. Mansi warns the bangle seller to be gentle with the bangles or face Aryavardhan’s wrath. At that moment, Anu is surprised when Aryavardhan arrives for the ritual. Aryavardhan, through gestures, rejects the various bangles presented by the bangle seller. When Sharada Devi questions Anu for refusing the bangles, she hesitates and accepts the one being presented. Aryavardhan gets up to stop her from accepting it and trip, on which Anu screams. Using her scream as an excuse, Aryavardhan rebukes the bangle seller and asking him to move aside so that he can help Anu wear the bangle instead. All the women present at the ceremony see-through Aryavardhan’s act. Aryavardhan once again wins the challenge and later he and Anu recall the first moment how Anu had challenged him and he had gone to her house to gift her bangles.
