Leonardo DiCaprio to team up with THIS bollywood actor to produce a sports biopic
HollywoodInception star Leonardo DiCaprio and Dev.D star Abhay Deol, a Bollywood actor-producer, are poised to collaborate on an upcoming sports biopic titled “Pep.”
Hollywood legendary Leonardo DiCaprio is going to team up with Bollywood Dev.D star Abhay Deol, who is known as a producer and actor. This movie will be based on legendary featherweight boxer Guglielmo Papaleo who was a professional boxer in the United States. Between 1942 and 1950, he won the World Featherweight Championship thrice.

Pep boxed a total of 1956 rounds in 241 battles during the course of his 26-year career, which is a significant number of rounds and bouts for a fighter in the mid-20th century. He was regarded as one of the best fighters of the twentieth century for his skill, speed, and elusiveness.
Appian Way and Blisspoint Entertainment
According to the sources, Leonardo DiCaprio will produce the biopic under his Appian Way Productions, collaborating with Deol’s Canada based Blisspoint Entertainment and Singapore’s Golden Ratio Films.
Blisspoint Entertainment has been established two years ago by Abhay Deol and Producer Ratan Ginwalla and produced the first horror film “Son’’
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way holds many film credits such as “The Revenant, The Wolf of Wall Street, TV’s Live By Night, Orphan, Shutter Island, The Aviator, and many more.
Golden Ratio is owned by content, entertainment and media investment holding company Vistas Media Capital. Vistas Media Capital’s CEO and co-founder, Abhayanand Singh, stated about the forthcoming project, “We are pleased to partner with Appian Way to tell the story of the late Willie Pep – an iconic fighter who has inspired many with his emotional comeback to the ring.
Star Cast
If we talk about the star cast and location so, James Madio (Band of Brothers) will play Pep’s son Billy Jr., and Ron Livingston will play Pep’s business manager Bob Kaplan in the film. There are currently no confirmed female leads. The film’s editor will be Robert Greene, and its executive producer will be Steve James.
The film will be shot in Pep’s hometown of Hartford, Connecticut with the direction of Robert Kolodny.
