Liger director Puri Jagannadh’s adorable encounter with a teen fan in Mumbai

Ace Telugu film director Puri Jagannadh is currently putting up in the Bollywood city Mumbai. The filmmaker, along with his team, is busy shooting his forthcoming big movie Liger starring the Tollywood megastar Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood beauty Ananya Panday. While on his way to the sets, the director had the most adorable encounter with an ardent Telugu fan on the busy streets of Mumbai.  

As Puri Jagannadh, accompanied by his team member Charmme Kaur, stopped at a traffic signal in Mumbai, a boy seemingly in his teenage approached his car and was shocked to see his favorite director. In a video, later on, shared over the internet by Charmme Kaur, the boy is seen to be overwhelmed in the presence of Puri Jagannadh. He couldn’t seem to believe his own eyes as he approached to shake hands with the ace director and kept repeating “Puri Sir” in excitement.

On being asked his name, the boy introduced himself as Pramod and stated how happy he was. He further stated that he saw the number plate of the car, which was of Telangana, and thought there must be someone from his native state while he approached him, only to be surprised on seeing Puri Jagannadh. Pramod made sure to shake hands with the Liger director multiple times and mentioned that he is a big fan of him. He also stated that he is looking forward to watching the pan-India movie Liger on the big screens.

Puri Jagannadh seemed equally thrilled to meet the young boy from Telangana in Mumbai. Charmme Kaur, who sat beside him in the car, shot the whole encounter and uploaded it on Twitter stating that it was especially for Pramod who stated that he wanted a selfie but did not carry a mobile phone with him.  

Liger is one of the most anticipated movies of Puri Jagannadh. The film will also feature the boxing legend Mike Tyson in a key role.
