Manushi Chhillar Signs Her Third YRF Project, To Star Alongside Ahaan Panday

Bagging the Miss World title in 2017, Manushi Chhillar became a renowned face in the entertainment world. While many filmmakers approached her, the actor-model had signed two YRF projects. This includes the historical drama Prithviraj and another untitled comedy flick. And now, if recent reports are to be believed, Manushi has locked another film backed by Yash Raj Films which will also feature Ahaan Panday as the lead. The newly announced project will be helmed by Shiv Rawail and will mark Manushi’s third YRF film.

Reportedly, Manushi has become the new favourite of the YRF team due to her dedication. And thus, Aditya Chopra approached her with this new fantasy project. “Manushi has become the new YRF favourite. Everyone is praising her dedication, work ethics and professional nature. Aditya Chopra has now got her on board for Shiv Rawail’s superhero project as well,” a source close to the film said.

Manushi will be playing the female lead in the film alongside Ahaan Panday who will make his acting debut through this project. The source also revealed that Aditya is keen on signing Manushi for a few other projects ahead. Talking about her debut project Prithviraj, the film was pushed ahead due to the Covid-19 situation.

As per the reports, Manushi has wrapped up the shoot of this period drama which stars Akshay Kumar in the lead. She will be essaying the role of Sanyogita, Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife. And the film might hit the theatres this year. Also, she has Vijay Krishna Acharya’s comedy flick on her work front alongside Vicky Kaushal.

Aprt from her professional life, Manushi is also seen actively participating in many social projects. She has joined hands with Project Shakti to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene.
