Meet The Cast Of Upcoming ZEE5 Original Short Film Driving Me Crazy

Driving Me Crazy is an upcoming short film on ZEE5 with a new take on modern love stories. With dating apps now defining modern relationships, this show brings to fore two absolute opposite characters who are attracted to each other. But a surprising revelation will take you aback.

The story revolves around three characters Tina Ahuja, Mudit Nair and Shrashti Maheshwari and is directed by Purnima Lamchhane. Rinkie (Tina) confides in her friend (Shrashti) that she met a guy on Tinder- a dating platform. When they do meet, they hit it off really well. But Rinkie will be baffled when the guy’s identity is revealed.

The celebrated actor Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja stars as the protagonist who uses a dating app for the first time. She feels a connection the instant she meets the guy whom she matched with. The actor portrays the role of a pragmatic person who is averse to filmy and cheesy pick-up lines. But Rinkie is swept off her feet with his charm. She gets the shock of her life when she realises that the cool dude she had developed feelings for was actually an Ola driver.

Mudit keeps his life intriguing. There is a mystery which blankets any minute detail that is related to him. When he meets Rinkie, Bollywood and film lines flow through him like poetry. He does not drink wine and comes off as a responsible brother and son who apparently have to receive his sister arriving from the United States. His charm gets thrown off when he asks for the OTP and sees Rinkie and her friend as passengers.

Shrashti, who also stars as Avni in ZEE5’s hit show Tujhse Hai Raabta, plays the role of a trustworthy friend whom Rinkie can confide in. The duo has a fixed spot where they like to meet and chill. She encourages Rinkie to follow her heart but is unaware of the guy’s reality.
