ZEE5 has a great library of short films in with some incredible actors. Half Full on ZEE5 is a short film about suicide featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Vikrant Massey, while Baarish Aur Chownein stars Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh. Ridicoolus is another short film set to join this interesting collection. This short film is a comedy dramaabout an aspiring actor who stars off as an extra and dreams of becoming a Bollywood film star. He goes to bizzare lengths just to be noticed on set. 1. Rajshsri Deshpande

Rajshri Deshpande has wowed audiences with her roles in films like Angry Indian Goddesses. She also convincingly played the the role of Ismat Chugtai in Manto. Her light-hearted ZEE5 original short film Hum Purane Hoke Bhi Naye was a simple story about a couple celebrating their six year anniversary at a restaurant. She is set to play a leading role in Ridicoolus too.

2. Nishan Nanaiah

Nishan Nanaiah has worked mainly in Malayalam films along with Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil. He stars in the Bengali film Filter Coffee Liquor Cha along with Usha Uthup. He also featured in the Tamil film Cycle Kick, and Bengali film Athithi alongside Rituparna Sengupta. He is set to play the role of a struggling actor Mohan Prasad Chourasiya, in Ridicoolus.

3. Geetika Sood

Geetika Sood is the writer and director of Ridicoolus. She has previously worked as a producer in Main Tera Hero and a co-producer for Behen Hogi Teri starring bollywood stars like Varun Dhawan and Rajkumar Rao.

4. Arvind Rajpoot

Arvind Rajpoot is a co-director for Ridicoolus along with Geetika Sood. They both previously worked in Behen Hogi Teri where he was the creative director. He was also the creative director on films like Footfairy and Captain Nawab.
