Pregnant Geeta Basra Warns Paps To Be Safe Amidst The Pandemic: Watch Video

Harbhajan Singh’s wife and actor Geeta Basra is all set to embrace parenthood once again. She was recently spotted outside her apartment leaving in her car. However, before continuing her journey, she was stopped by the paparazzi for a picture. During the interaction, a pregnant Geeta was seen warning the photographers to stay safe from the virus. The clip begins with Geeta Basra walking out of her apartment when she is requested by the media to strike a few poses for the cameras. Obliging to their request, Basra smiles at the paparazzi. She also had a quick conversation with the camera person who asked her why she hasn’t gone to watch her husband’s match. Basra pointed out the odd circumstances that COVID-19 has created for everyone and urged everyone to be safe before entering her car.

Harbhajan and Geeta are expecting their second child together and the pregnancy announcement was made by the celebs themselves on social media. Geeta wrote, “Coming soon.. July 2021”, while breaking the news amongst her followers. In a recent interview, Geeta revealed why she quit acting after marrying her cricketer husband.

Geeta said that she will return to work when she is ready and that women should follow their passions as they aren’t defined by ‘motherhood’ alone. “I have grown up with a working mum, who has raised her family so well… Whatever we have today is because of her. I take that as my inspiration. I don’t women should give up on any of their passions”, said Geeta

She continued, “Being a mother is the most rewarding and fulfilling role I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve loved every moment of being with Hinaya. It was a personal choice that I didn’t want to work… I was enjoying motherhood so much, and enjoying her milestones, and making sure that I’m there for every single moment of hers — her first walk, her first laugh, her first word.”
