Prince Narula Opens Up About Yuvika Chaudhary’s Casteist Slur Controversy, Read

Actress Yuvika Chaudhary was recently in the news for reportedly using a ‘casteist slur’ during a vlog. She was heavily trolled by the netizens and faced a severe backlash for the same. Following the incident, both Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula issued a public apology for hurting the sentiments of people. Prince Narula, on Thursday, even interacted with the paparazzi about this and shared his take on the matter.

While interacting with the paparazzi, Prince Narula said, ‘These days, people turn small matters into very big ones. However, the cases which are actually big and should be talked about, are not in India.’ He further said that there are many issues in India that require prompt action and that this (Yuvika’s controversy) is a smaller issue.

He also said that Yuvika was unaware that the word she used in her vlog was a casteist slur. ‘We don’t believe in castes. I am a Punjabi and she is a Jat. If we believed in castes, then we would not have gotten married, right?… Despite being unaware she issued a public apology  to those who got hurt.’

In the public apology, Yuvika Chaudhary mentioned that she did not know the meaning of the word she used. ‘I did not mean to hurt anyone, and I can never do that,’ she wrote. Take a look at her full post below.

Prince Narula was quick to leave a comment on the post, soon after she shared it. He wrote, ‘ Baby jo hua galti se hua dnt wry main apke sath hu or apne maafi bhe mang le hai so i love u (sic).’
