Priyanka Chaturvedi Speaks Up On Kangana Ranaut’s Office Demolition By BMC
Trending NewsThe BMC action against the actor’s property kicked up a storm on social media as politicians and Bollywood personalities slammed it.
Kangana Ranaut, on Wednesday (September 9), launched a direct attack on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Speaking to a news channel exclusively, Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi reacted to Ranaut’s attack. The war of words between the Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena took a grave turn as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of her bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra. The BMC said that the demolition work was carried on the illegal alterations in the bungalow, however, the actor and lawyer claimed that the corporation was lying.
On being asked for her opinion on Ranaut’s tweets by a reporter, Chaturvedi replied, “I don’t agree with your statement of Shiv Sena being surrounded. The BMC is doing its duty by law. The illegal structure has been made since 2018 and no one is answering or responding to BMC’s concerns about the structure. Kangana Ranaut is not the first woman or her office is not the first one to be devoured on the grounds of being illegitimate. Mumbai is a city where not only Hindi cinema celebrities but TV show personalities also reside and work. Such a BMC episode has occurred before with Kapil Sharma, Irrfan Khan and Sonu Sood also.”
