Priyanka Chopra Jonas Announces Her New Venture, An Indian Restaurant In New York

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is one of the most famous Indian actors, has become a worldwide star. Besides displaying her acting prowess in both, Indian and American films and shows, she has recently also written a book, in which she has shared stories about her career. Very recently, the actress also announced her next new venture. Read on to know about it.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has added many feathers to her cap – an actress in Bollywood and Hollywood, an author, a producer, a singer, and now, the owner of a restaurant. A few days back, she had also announced the launch of her hair care products, named Anomaly. On 7 March, Priyanka announced that she is opening her own new restaurant in New York. She also said that it will be an Indian restaurant, and has named it ‘Sona’.

Priyanka has also uploaded pictures of her and her husband Nick Jonas, performing pooja for the restaurant, which quickly went viral after her announcement. In the social media post that she had uploaded, she also mentioned that the pooja was done in September 2019, and the restaurant will be opening in late March 2021.

Talking about her restaurant in the caption of her announcement post, Priyanka said, “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef @harinayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country. SONA is opening later this month, and I can’t wait to see you there! This endeavour would not have been possible without the leadership of my friends Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin. Thank you to our designer Melissa Bowers and the rest of the team for realizing this vision so clearly.”
