Even now, seeing somebody on the big screen brandishing the Indian flag inspires us with pleasure. Gadar attests to the fact that Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol’s jodi has always secured box-office success. The movie contained a lot of memorable one-liners, and they’re sure to bring out the high-end patriot in you.

The war scream from one of the year’s biggest superhits in Uri: The Surgical Strike, has now established as one of the most popular cheers in companies and schools, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has even used it during one of his addresses. “How’s the josh?” Vicky Kaushal, who portrays Major Vihaan Shergill in the movie, questions his men before an operation. “High, Sir!” the warriors exclaim in unison.

“Mujhe states ke naam na sunai dete hai na dikhai dete hai, Sirf ek mulk ka naam sunai deta hai, INDIA,” Shah Rukh Khan says in Chak De India. When you have that gut feeling in your heart about how proud you are to be an Indian, this is the time to act.
