Saravanan will always abuse Selvi
Sarvanan is evil at the core of his being. If he has to get married to Selvi against his own wish, he will certainly keep abusing her. He will direct his anger for Sathya towards Selvi. His parents will also never accept her and she will be stuck in an abusive relationship. He will not value or love her like she deserves. We can only imagine how he will behave with her after they are alone!
Selvi will be married to her culprit
Selvi was extremely wronged, and it isn’t fair for her to get married to her own culprit, considering that he should have been punished in the hands of law. Being married will be a punishment to Selvi rather than Sarvanan. There is no guarantee that he will realise his mistake or change after he is married to her. He deserves to be jailed for betraying her and taking advantage of her!
Selvi could always have a better life!
If Sathya really wants to make sure that justice is done, she should have Sarvanan compensate for the emotional and physical trauma that he gave her. The family could come together and help Selvi build a better life, in whatever way they could. If Selvi would want to start a business or pursue higher education, they could help her by finding her! This guarantees a better life ahead for Selvi.
