Singers Shilpa Rao And Yasser Desai Reveal Their Singer Crushes; Read On

The latest episode of Mixtape Rewind season 3 features popular musicians Shilpa Rao and Yasser Desai. The duo has presented a beautiful rendition of two iconic Bollywood songs, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin and Nazar Ke Samne. The latest edition of the T-series Mixtape is presented by Amazon Prime Music. And ever since the song has dropped, fans are going crazy over it. But while fans are crushing over the amazing singers of the song, do you know who their singer crushes are?

After the success of their song, Shilpa Rao and Yasser Desai have given several interviews. In one such interview, the duo revealed their singer crushes and more. Read on to know what these questions were and how these incredible singers answered each one of them. When asked about the song they wish to sing or be featured in, from the 90s, Yasser immediately answered with the song, ‘Aaye Ho Meri Zindagi Mein’. Shilpa who initially chose the whole Ashiqui album, later selected ‘Nazar Ke Samne’ as her pick.

The duo was then asked to pick a song that describes them best. Replying to this, Yasser started singing Mohit Chauhan’s ‘Jo bhi main’ from Rockstar. Meanwhile, Shilpa chose her own song ‘Manmarziyan’ from Lootera. When the duo was asked who their singer crushes are, Shilpa immediately replied with “Sukhwinder Singh”, whereas Yasser was left confused and wondering. With a little nudge from Shilpa, he names his singer crush as “Sonu Nigam”.

Then the duo was presented with a rather difficult choice. They were asked about their preference from old and classic songs or moderns songs. Yasser seemed pretty clear about his choice as he said, “Old and classic, hands down”. Meanwhile, Shilpa chose to have the best of both worlds as she said that she liked both as we’re creating some “pathbreaking music” as well.
