SSR Case: Showik Chakraborty Confesses To Arranging Marijuana For Late Actor

In his statement to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that’s recorded under 67 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty made these revelations: He confessed that he has arranged marijuana and hash for Rajput several times but has not taken any drug himself. “Further, upon being asked whether I have arranged any narcotic drug for Sushant Singh Rajput or Rhea Chakraborty or anyone else, I state that I have arranged manicured marijuana and hashish for Rajput,” Showik Chakraborty said.

“I also state that even though I arranged the drugs for Rajput many times, I remember the recent instances where I arranged drugs for him through my friends,” he further said. Showik Chakraborty said that he could recall one incident when he arranged marijuana for Rajput during the lockdown. He said, “Through WhatsApp chat, my sister told me that Sushant is taking marijuana at least 4-5 times a day, and based on this I told her that I will arrange five grams of Bud (curated marijuana) which was enough for smoking 20 times.”
