Sunil Pal Calls Manoj Bajpayee An “Ill-Mannered” Person, Links His Web Show The Family Man To ‘Porn’

Surveying the digital content, the IB ministry has tightened the rules and regulations spanning all digital platforms. And of late, many artists have been opposing the notion, resulting in the censorship debate gaining huge momentum. However, to the contrary, comedian Sunil Pal has slammed a couple of web shows linking them as “porn”. He also went on to make some shocking remarks against actor Manoj Bajpayee calling him an “ill-mannered” and “immoral” person.

Recently, in an interaction with media, Sunil Pal was asked about the alleged pornography scandal involving businessman Raj Kundra. He stated that strict actions are necessary in such cases. Also, Sunil claimed that many big stars from the film industry are taking advantage of the liberty of digital content. He added that many web shows are being made which cannot be watched at home. Furthermore, Sunil specifically pointed Manoj Bajpayee’s name, calling him out for his web series ‘The Family Man’.

“However big an actor Manoj Bajpayee is and how many ever prestigious awards he has won, I have never seen a more ill-mannered and immoral man,” Sunil was quoted saying. He also made a detailed comment talking about Bajpayee starrer Family Man. Sunil added that the show highlights acts like ‘infidelity’ and other “unacceptable” terms.

“You are being conferred with a presidential award and then, this is what you do for the family audience,” Sunil said. He went on to diss Amazon Prime’s Mirzapur, stating his hatred for the makers of the show. “All these things should be banned as well. Even this is a type of porn. Porn is not only about what we see but of thoughts as well,” he concluded.

Well, it seems that Sunil’s remarks have fuelled a new controversy altogether.
