Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Delay May Have Led To Negative Report

Jessica David . Aug 26, 2020 .

Forensic experts raise questions over timing, saying post-mortem was done after 12 hours, which caused a delay in reports.

The forensic lead on Sushant Singh Rajput death case have dropped a bombshell. The report says ‘no toxic substances found in viscera’. Experts raise questions over the timing, saying that the post-mortem was done after 12 hours. They claim that the delay may have led to a negative report. In a sting operation done by a leading news portal, a top forensic officer in Maharashtra can be seen asserting that toxic trace lasts for six hours in a body while Rajput’s autopsy was conducted nearly 10 hours after his body was recovered.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has alleged that the Bollywood actor was poisoned before his death. On Tuesday morning (August 25), Swamy took to Twitter and claimed, “Now the diabolical mentality of the killers and their reach is being slowly revealed: autopsy was deliberately forcibly delayed so that the poisons in Rajput’s stomach dissolves beyond recognition by the digestive fluids in the stomach. Time to nail those who are responsible.”
