On the occasion of Beyonce’s birthday, we remember her earlier albums, her career, and her powerful presence.An acclaimed singer, Queen Bey has various accolades to her name include 28 Grammy Awards, 26 MTV Video Music Awards, more than 20 NAACP Image Awards, and more than 30 BET Awards among others. She was declared the highest-earning black musician of all time in 2014 by Billboard. In 2020, she was included on Time’s list of 100 women.

It is our most loved singer Beyonce’s birthday today. The Queen turns a year older and there is nothing that will make her less loved. The American singer, songwriter, and actress who turns 41 today rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of the band Destiny’s Child which was one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.

Followed by a break from the band, there was the release of her first solo album, Dangerously in Love in 2003. The album went on to be featured in the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles “Crazy in Love” and “Baby Boy”.

She then went on to release her second solo album, B’Day. it was this album that had the hit singles Irreplaceable and Beautiful Liar. Later her marriage to singer-rapper and music producer Jay-Z and her portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records influenced her third album, I Am… Sasha Fierce in 2008. Her third album earned a record-setting six Grammy Awards in 2010.

She also released another album, Everything Is Love, a collaborative album with her husband, Jay-Z, as the Carters in 2018. Beyoncé even topped the Billboard Hot 100 with the remixes of “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran in 2017. In 2020 after the Black Lives Matter campaign she released the musical film and visual album Black Is King that was received widespread acclaim.

Over the years her popularity has grown multifold which can be seen in the form of her 205 million followers on Instagram alone. Known as someone who doesn’t caption her pictures, Beyonce makes sure to update her social media. And she is not someone to just drop any picture, she of her outfits are to die for.
