The trailer of much-awaited docudrama based on the lives and times of ace tennis duo, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi, Break Point is finally out. The first trailer of ‘Break Point’ released today has created an uproar among tennis fans. Bringing ‘Break Point’ to the world is producer and director pair Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari, who are co-directing this seven-part series for the first time together.

It was not long ago that the teaser clip was launched to keep Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi fans anticipating more teasers and trailers. Twitter and Instagram users continued to express their anticipation for the web series and extended their support from all over the world.

The release date of this original web series has not been announced yet; however, the trailer has created great momentum for the release.

The director duo will be giving more scenes and information from the series with a little insight into the whole plot. Intense moments and several appealing cinematographic shots are to be expected. Break Point, the seven-part series will portray #LeeHesh as the Wimbledon champs with those intricate details about them that the world doesn’t know. Several scenes from their on-court and off-court bond will be showcased in ‘Break Point’ like never before.

The story will also focus on why such a strong duo in the Indian tennis scenario parted ways. Leander and Mahesh won 8 Grand Slam Doubles titles each in their careers.

In 1999, they were the first doubles team to reach the finals of all four Grand Slams. It was a first since 1952. This feat was very much appreciated in India back in the day and led to the rise in number of youth who opted for tennis training.

In a statement made earlier, Leander said that they’ve received worldwide coverage on his on-court partnership with Mahesh while their off-court chemistry is speculated. He added, “In ‘Break Point’, our fans will be heard and see those moments that everyone missed. We have worked hard to put India on the top. We are glad that we are getting the chance to present our story to the world.”

The day of release is not out yet. However, it will premiere soon on ZEE5.
