THESE Films To Bounce Back With Second Installment In 2022; Which Film Would You Love To Watch First?

A few Bollywood films that have already made a place in our hearts are ready to release a sequel and we are all the more excited for them. From Heropanti 2 to Badhaai Do, hit franchises will return in 2022.

1. Badhaai Ho 2

It is a sequel to 2018’s ‘Badhaai Ho’. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar will star in the second film, named Badhaai Do. Rajkummar will play a Delhi cop who is the lone male cop in a woman police station. In the film, Bhumi will portray a physical education instructor at a school. Harshavardhan Kulkarni directs Badhaai Do. The new film will be released in February 2022.

2. Gadar 2

Tara Singh, Sakeena, and Jeete, the on-screen family who captivated audiences in Gadar in 2001, are returning. After years of speculation, Gadar 2 is in the works. Sunny Deol will reprise his role as Tara Singh, while Ameesha Patel will play Sakeena and Utkarsh Sharma will play Jeete. The film is presently in production and will hit theaters later this year.

3. Ek Villain Returns

Ek Villian was a romantic – thriller that featured Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Ritesh Deshmukh. Ek Villain Returns, directed by Mohit Suri, is a reboot of the franchise with a fresh cast. Disha Patani, John Abraham, Tara Sutaria, and Arjun Kapoor appear in the thriller, which is set to hit theaters in July.

4. Heropanti 2

Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon made their acting debuts in Heropanti (2014). Tiger will return in Heropanti 2 to carry the story forward. Ahmed Khan directed the romantic action film, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tara Sutaria. It is currently slated to be released in theaters in April.

5. Bhool Bhalaiyaa 2

Following in the footsteps of Priyadarshan, Anees Bazmee will direct Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the sequel to the 2007 smash horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. Kartik Aaryan plays the lead in this film, which also stars Tabu and Kiara Advani. It is said to be released in March.
