TMKOC Nattu Kaka Funeral: Producer Asit Modi, Dilip Joshi, Bhavya Gandhi Attend Last Rites Of Ghanshyam Nayak; Munmun Dutta Pens A Heartfelt Note

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma team lost another gem yesterday. Ghanshyam Nayak who played the role of Nattu Kaka in the popular sitcom left for a heavenly adobe yesterday. He was suffering from cancer and breathed his last on October 3. The news of his sad demise had shattered the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma and even his fans. The co-stars from the comedy sitcom are taking to their social media accounts to express their sorrows for the sad demise of Nattu kaka.

Today, at the funeral of the actor, the other actors from TMKOC including Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide, and other cast members marked their presence at the late actor’s house. Dilip Joshi, the creator of the show, Bhavya Gandhi who used to play the role of Tappu in the show, and Samay Shah, who plays Gogi among others were seen at Nattu kaka’s last rites. The actors are shattered by the demise of the fun-loving man. He used to make the audience laugh with his acting and bonding with the other co-stars. The actors with their heavy hearts went to Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka’s house to pay tribute to him.

Actress Munmum Dutta who plays the role of Babita Ji, took to her Instagram account to express her sorrow. She dropped a series of photos with the late actor and penned a heartfelt note in her caption. Her caption reads as “Kaka The first picture is the last time that I met him. His fighting spirit and inspirational words, in the face of adversity, is what I remember the most. He said 2 shlokas in Sanskrit to tell us how his pronunciation is absolutely perfect and clear after recovering from chemo and we gave him a standing ovation on the set. He would always have the best things to say about our set, our unit and our team. It was his second ‘HOME’. He would fondly call me ‘Dikri’ and considered me his daughter. He shared so much laughter with all of us. I fondly remember him sharing his struggle stories from his younger days. Have been a celebrated artist all his life. More than anything, I will always remember him as this absolutely genuine and a ‘cute’ person when he spoke. The last year has been so difficult on him due to his deteriorating health. Inspite of it, he wanted to keep working and stay positive always. Too many memories, too many great things to write about you. I was blessed to know you for the past 13 years Kaka You will always be remembered by me and many, whose life you touched as an artist I hope you’re in a better place now. Heaven is brighter today because of you From, Moon”.

The news of Nattu Kaka’s sad demise was shared by Asit Kumar Modi on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “Hamare pyaare #Natukaka
