Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is known for making action drama films apart from this he is also at the forefront to create cop-centric films. Rohit Shetty’s cop-dramas like Singham to Simmba, are highly loved by the audience. Rohit Shetty is all set to release his yet again cop universe film, which stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to mark his debut in the digital world.

If the reports are to be believed, Rohit Shetty is planning to make an eight-episode web series that is touted to be a one based on cops. The web series will be released online on a leading digital media platform. It will be helmed by Rohit Shetty’s assistant director Sushwanth Prakash. Rohit Shetty has reportedly initiated conversations with Bollywood actors like Vicky Kaushal, Sidharth Malhotra, and Tiger Shroff for the lead role. A source informed a leading daily that Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, and Sidharth Malhotra are Rohit’s top choices for the lead role in his debut in the online release.

The same source said that the three of them are Rohit’s top choices for the role as the material demands an actor who is adept at the action. If all goes well, the actioner will roll by December. Though it marks Rohit’s foray into the digital world, he is not in a rush to announce it and will probably do so only after the release date of Sooryavanshi is finalized.

If the reports turn out to be true, the audience will enjoy Rohit Shetty’s super-duper action thrillers at home. The thing to watch is the efforts that the filmmaker will put in the making of his digital debut. Rohit’s film Sooryavanshi has been ready for release since 2020. But, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, its release has been put on hold. Rohit Shetty is now directing his next film Cirkus with Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead.
