Virat Kohli Shares Picture Of The ‘Strongest Women’ In His Life, Wife Anushka And Baby Vamika

On the occasion of Women’s Day, Indian skipper Virat Kohli shared a photo on Instagram of wife Anushka Sharma and his newborn daughter Vamika. Anushka gave birth to a baby on January 11 this year and the mother-daughter duo is reported to be in Ahmedabad along with Virat for India vs England T20 series which will commence from 12th March.

The Instagram post that Virat shared, featured a candid photo of Anushka with Vamika, in which we see the actress smile with the joy of parenthood as the baby holds onto her mother. The caption read, ” Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It’s because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women’s Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who’s going to grow up to be like her mother ❤️. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world.”

When Vamika was born, both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma requested the paparazzi to provide them with privacy and not click any pictures of the newborn. They also sent a hamper to the photographers along with a thank you note.

On the work front, Virat will head team India in the upcoming five-match India vs England T20 series. He also was the caption of the team for 4-match Test series against England which they won with a lead of 3-1. India will face New Zealand in the finals of ICC World Test Championship.
