The Maharashtra government has imposed weekend lockdown and new guidelines amid the rising Covid-19 cases. While the surge of covid cases has become a cause of worry, many unethical practices also have come to light. Reacting on the same, actor Rakhi Sawant recently opened up on the rising covid tally in the city. She said that many people are forging “fake Covid-19 certificates”. Rakhi also reacted to her gym-buddy Vicky Kaushal testing Covid positive.

Recently, Rakhi was spotted by the paparazzi outside the gym. While she was indulged in a conversation with them, the paps quizzed her about the rising covid cases in Mumbai. Answering this, Rakhi said that people are forging covid certificates. “Many people are testing positive due to the fake Covid certificates. People who travel have to show these certificates at the airport and they make fake ones because they don’t want to give Rs 700-800 or Rs 1200,” she said.

Rakhi urged people not to do so and requested her fans to follow the guidelines issued by the government. Also, the actor was left with a shocker when she got aware of her gym-buddy Vicky Kaushal testing Covid-19 positive. “I am extremely shocked and I’ll pray that he gets well soon,” she said.

Earlier, this week, a video of Rakhi went viral where she lashed out at a fan for not wearing a mask. As seen in the video, the fan was eagerly waiting to click a picture with Rakhi. However, seeing him without a mask, she refused to take the picture and requested him to follow the Covid-19 norms. The video went viral within no time and Rakhi was applauded by the netizens.
