On this Women’s Day, let’s take a moment to appreciate these deadly villainous characters who help in creating all the excitement that there is, in a story.

Sarika (Gattimela)

Sarika, whose love interest is Vikranth, helps build excitement when she tries to cheat Vicky into marrying her without his knowledge. This also brings out the anger in our very timid Aarthi, who Vicky is madly in love with. Our perception of her completely changes when we see her fight for her love. In terms of character, her repelling nature is proof that she has completely justified her role as Sarika.

Anika (Kamali)

Anika plays the half-sister of Kamali. She is filled with envy and anger for her and feels like Kamali has taken over everything that she deserves. The beginning of Amulya’s will to fight for her love is brought out when she is instigated by Sahithya.

Maya (Yaare Nee Mohini)

Maya of Yaare Nee Mohini wants to wed Muttu even though the latter loves Belli. She even tries to tie the knot with him forcefully. Mohini, on the other hand, wants Belli to get married to him. While the two put up a good fight to win his heart, Maya represents evil thereby highlighting the triumph of good over the latter.

Suhasini (Gattimela)

Suhasini plays the role of Vikranth and Vedanth’s mother in Gattimela. She creates hurdles in both her sons’ love lives as she wants a girl of a certain stature to be part of her family.
