Positively Reviewed Rangbaaz Phirse To Be Remade In Kannada

Rangbaaz Phirse, directed by Bhav Dhulia, is a ZEE5 Original web-series that released in December 2018 and is set in the 1990’s in the villages of Gorakhpur. Based on a true story, the plot revolves around the most wanted gangster, Amarpal Singh a and his journey.

This time Rangbaaz Phirse has come back with a bang. The last time India Today (IT) said that Rangbaaz has joined the league of gangster dramas like Sacred Games and Mirzapur which have become quite a rage among the digital audiences. This time in Rangbaaz Phir Se, we see a star cast of Jimmy Sheirgill as the central character Amarpal Singh. He plays a feared gangster of Rajasthan who is respected by the people and politicians of the state.

Gul Panag plays the female lead. We also see Zeeshan Ayyub, Sharad Kelkar, Spruha Joshi, Harsh Chhaya, and Sushant Singh star in important roles. Rangbaaz Phirse revolves around a young boy who experiences a downfall because of politics and is robbed of his youth that ruins his life.

Giving Rangbaaz Phirse a 4/5 rating, letsott.com said in its review of the series, “The plot is hooking as ever and captivates the essence and flavours of the Rajasthani gang-wars in great detail. It is interesting how the writers have tapped into a new culture keeping from the stayed ways of incorporating the gang wars from Bihar and Lucknow.” The plot is interesting while the screenplay is gripping. Rangbaaz Phirse captures the Rajasthani essence and communal political gang wars in a thrilling way and is surely worth a watch.
