Atkan Chatkan is an upcoming ZEE5 musical drama releasing on September 5, Teacher’s Day. The movie is directed by Saumyy Shivhare and presented by AR Rahman. Atkan Chatkan revolves around a young boy, Guddu, who delivers chai. Guddu aspires to be a musician but due to financial issues, he cannot learn the art and is helpless.
Guddu and his friends decide to form a band and participate in a music competition. The movie stars talented kids including Lydian Nadhaswaram, Sachin Chaudhary, Yash Rane, and Tamanna Dipak in pivotal roles. The God of music AR Rahman has described Lydian as India’s treasures and this young boy has already managed to win audience hearts with his dedication towards music. Lydian who hails from Chennai has been blessed with talent. The 12-year-old boy can effortlessly play the piano at great speed and leaves the viewers amazed with his soulful music. Lydian recently took to the world stage where he won The World’s Best tag along with $1 million prize money. The child prodigy has won several awards in the music industry. Right from winning Golden globe award to Emmy award, Lydian has surprised everyone with his story.
Lydian’s love for music was clear when he started playing the drums at 2. Later Lydian accompanied his father Varshan Satish, a music director in the Tamil film Industry and sister Amirthavarshini at public events. Lydian was fascinated by seeing his elder sister play piano and started playing the instrument without formal training. Lydian slowly and gradually started playing the piano at a speed of 190 beats per minute and later learnt how to play slow melodies. He then started getting trained by Augustine Paul, a veteran music educator and music director of the 125-year-old Madras Musical Association. Lydian even spent four years at maestro A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory.
