Aamir Khan To Have A Dance Number In Amin Hajee’s Film; Actor Will Take A Break From Laal Singh Chaddha Shooting

Aamir Khan has reportedly halted the shooting of his movie Laal Singh Chaddha to shoot a dance number opposite Elli AvRram in Amin Hajee’s directorial venture.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming project Laal Singh Chaddha has reportedly halted the shooting of the movie. Aamir Khan has taken a five-day break to travel to Jaipur to meet his friend Amin Hajee and fulfil another professional commitment. The Lagaan actor will appear in a dance number alongside Elli AvRram in Amin Hajee’s next directorial venture.

As per reports, when Amin Hajee contacted the actor about his psychological thriller, Aamir was amazed by the film’s plot and agreed to do the dance number instantly. A huge set has been created at Jaipur for Aamir Khan’s cameo in the film. Aamir Khan will dance on the track composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Ace choreographers Bosco and Caesar are roped in to choreography this much-anticipated dance number.

For the unversed, the upcoming psychological thriller will mark Amin’s debut as a director. Both Aamir and Amin have known each other for more than 20 years. Their friendship dates back to the time when the duo met each other on the sets of Lagaan. Amin, essayed the role of speech impaired drummer Bagha in the film while Aamir essayed the lead role. The duo has also collaborated together in Mangal Pandey: The Rising.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming comedy-drama film helmed by filmmaker Advait Chandan. Bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions in collaboration with Viacom18 Studious, Laal Singh Chaddha has been adapted from the 1994 American film titled, Forrest Gump. The American film was based on the novel of the same name written by Winston Groom. Apart from Aamir Khan, the cast of the film will feature Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh.

The principal photography of the movie began back in October 2019. However, amidst the COVID-19 lockdown, the shooting of the film was halted in March 2020. Later, the shooting resumed in the month of September. Reportedly, the movie has been filmed in more than 100 locations. Initially, the film was scheduled to hit the silver screen in Christmas 2020, now the film will release during Christmas 2021.
