Watch the latest episode of Aggabai Sunbai here:
1. Failure only makes you stronger
When Asawari first started Annapoorna, her restaurant was burned down. All that she had worked for, got over in a matter of few minutes. Even then, Asawari did not give up. She continued to work hard and rebuild her empire. Similarly, Shubhra too faced a setback when Soham trashed her sewing machine. She must not let this hold her back, and needs to work harder!
2. Some days are good, some are bad
Even after Annapoorna was rebuilt, some days the business was good and some days it was not. She would barely have enough money to fill her stomach, times were so trying. However, she remained motivated. Likewise, Shubhra should know that there might be some bad days but that doesn’t mean she gives up.
3. A woman can balance both personal and professional life
Shubhra’s entire life revolves around her son Shubham, much like Asawari’s did around Soham. Shubhra thinks if she gives her time to something else, like her career, then she won’t be able to focus on her son. However, there is an example to prove her wrong and that’s Asawari. If she can manage to perfectly balance personal and professional lives, so can Shubhra.
4. Criticism and appreciation
No matter how hard you try, you will not be able to please everyone! When Asawari first started her business, there were people, in fact, her own family members, who did not appreciate what she was doing. However, there were many other people who encouraged and motivated her. While some criticized her, some appreciated her and this only pushed Asawari to do better. Shubhra must remember this every time Soham berates her for trying.
5. Believe in yourself
The most important thing Shubhra can learn from Asawari is believing in yourself. No matter what people say, or how many setbacks come your way, you must never lose faith in yourself. Asawari’s journey was filled with hurdles and there were times when she felt lost. However, she always believed in herself and became the woman she is today. Shubhra must try to follow this as best as she can.
We truly wish for Shubhra to rid herself of the evil clutches of Soham and pursue her dreams. It will be very interesting to see how she does that now!
