Aggabai Sunbai: Soham Is Turning Out To Be A Bad Influence To His Son Shubham, Read!

We all know that Aggabai Sunbai’s Soham is not a great person. He literally has an evil side to himself that he keeps cleverly hidden while he’s home. Outside, he is his real self: arrogant, indifferent, and inherently bad. As a husband, we have seen how he is one of the biggest reasons behind Shubhra’s under-confidence. As a son too, he is not very great and Asawari is always suspecting him to be up to no good. Asawari regrets coddling him and turning him into a troublemaker. She thinks that Shubham will turn out to be exactly like his father. And as a father, he is just absent.

Soham is so taken by his work at the office and Suzzane that he cannot care about anything else. He is staying with his family mostly due to his position at work and for the money, as Asawari, his mother is the owner of the company. But he knows how Shubhra is and takes advantage of her. Shubhra is extremely dependable and will take responsibility of anything and everything in the house. This includes Shubham. And Soham lets it be that way. He actually banks on Shubhra for taking care of Shubham so that he can live his life the way he wants.

He does not truly care about Shubham and often uses him as an excuse. We have seen a couple of times how Soham has given Shubham as his reason to leave a scene only to spend time with Suzzane instead of actually paying attention to Shubham’s shenanigans. This has resulted once in Ajoba getting locked in the storeroom and once in Shubham fainting.

He also does not really imbibe any good values in his son either. In fact, Shubham notices how his father sometimes overdoes drama to get what he wants. Once Soham even directly advised Shubham to become adamant about his wants and bend situations to suit his own desires! This is clearly not something you say to a naughty child!

In the recent episode, he creates an atmosphere that makes him look like the victim. Shubham could take this incident as a lesson and re-enact it to get what he wants! Soham should be more careful about what he does in front of Shubham. Now that Abhijeet knows Soham’s reality, he should shield Shubham from adopting more of his father’s behaviour! And Asawari should call Soham out for his behaviour so that he can set a better example for his son.
