Ajay Devgn’s Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness To Go On Floors On July 21

Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to make his OTT debut with the upcoming web series Rudra-The Edge Of Darkness. In the series, he will be playing the titular role of Rudra. As per reports, Rudra-The Edge Of Darkness is going to go on floors on 21st July 2021. Reports also suggest that Ajay Devgn will play a very ‘different’ role, compared to his other roles which are generally action-based. Read on.

In the series, actress Rashi Khanna is going to star alongside Ajay Devgn. The two actors will be seen sharing screen space for the first time. As per reports, the makers of the series have revealed that they are ‘very excited’ to be working with Ajay Devgn and that they are working with him for the first time.

Makers have reportedly confirmed that Ajay Devgan will have a very ‘different’ avatar in the series compared to his other roles. He will be seen playing a very ‘bold’ character as well. They have also revealed that viewers will really like the series as there are many ‘new concepts’ in it.

Rudra –  The Edge Of Darkness is a crime thriller which is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Applause Entertainment along with BBC Studios India. The series marks Devgn’s debut on the digital platform as an actor. He has already made his digital debut as a producer. Last month, he took to social media to announce the series. He wrote, ‘Happy to announce the crime thriller of the year Hotstar Specials ‘Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness’.

Ajay Devgn’s fans are really excited for his digital debut as an actor and have expressed how they ‘can’t wait’ for its release in the comment section. Some other fans wrote that no one else would have been better for this role other than Ajay Devgan himself.
