Akshay Kumar To Reprise His Role Of God In Oh My God 2, Allots Only 15 Days For The Shoot!

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in the industry right now. Since the last few years, the actor has been having multiple releases a year, almost all of them faring pretty well at the box office. Even currently, the actor is busy shooting back to back for various films. And one of these films is the much-awaited sequel to his 2012 satirical comedy-drama, OMG – Oh My God!

The announcement of Oh My God 2 has been made long back. And looks like the makers are now finally taking the film on floors, with the shoot scheduled to start towards the end of August. The film will star Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role instead of Paresh Rawal who played the lead in the first instalment of the film. Oh My God 2 will also see the gorgeous Yami Gautam in a prominent role.

Meanwhile, Khiladi Kumar will be seen reprising his role of God from the first film. Oh My God followed the story of a man(Paresh Rawal) who fights a court case against god for the damage caused to his property due to a natural calamity. If the sequel’s story is anything similar, it’ll be a treat for the audience to watch Pankaj Tripathi as the lead athiest.

Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Raksha Bandhan and will also be shooting for some patchwork on his upcoming release, Bell Bottom, soon. Post that, the actor will start with the shoot for Oh My God 2, for which the actor, who usually keeps aside 30-45 days for a film, has allotted a mere 15 days. The shoot for the film will begin by the end of August with Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, whereas Akshay Kumar will join the cast a month later. The film is scheduled to release in 2022.
