Amrita Puri Gets Candid About Life, Love And Her Biggest Learning From Jeet Ki Zid

Amrita Puri has recently gained a major appreciation for her role as Jaya in the ZEE5 Original Jeet Ki Zid. The actor was featured alongside Amit Sadh in the web series. Recently, on Unboxed with ZEE5, Amrita Puri spilt beans about her personal life. From talking about her cheat meal to discussing the story of Jeet Ki Zid, Puri discussed it all. Take a look.

1.Are you a morning person or a night person?

She said she’s a morning person.

2.Tea or Coffee?

Both. Amrita Puri said that she drinks only one cup of coffee in the day and so in the evening she drinks tea.

3.One song which wakes you up in the morning?

Amrita Puri mocked that there is no particular song but instead it’s her alarm.

4.Last thing you bought under Rs. 100?

She said she bought a lighter under Rs 100.

5.Last time you used public transport?

Amrita Puri said that she used a Kaali Peeli (a taxi) in December.

Amrita Puri mentioned that it’s her phone and now in a pandemic situation, it is her mask and sanitiser.

The actor said that she gets angry when people get flaky with her.

Amrita Puri said that she doesn’t lie much but one lie she says on an everyday basis is saying that she is fine to people she doesn’t know personally even if a whole lot of things is going on in her life.

The actor said that her bad habit is that she is addicted to her phone. She added that she often randomly starts online shopping at night.

Amrita Puri said that she went to Goa with her mother and bought a lot of crockery and household stuff.

11.What is your cheat meal like?

Amrita mocked that she should be asked to tell her one healthy meal as she always eats junk. Talking about her cheat meal, she mentioned that she ate two dinners last night. One was a healthy meal that is a veg cutlet and later she went and ordered a pizza for her second dinner.

She said that she only cheats in her diet so she will never cheat in a relationship.

Amrita said that she has two favourite destinations in India that are Goa and Manali. She added that for international travel she loves to visit Europe.

Amrita laughed and said that no one, as she would probably be sleeping at 3 AM.

The actor mentioned that she feels like the last year on a whole was unpredictable. The way things turned out and everything was stopped, it was totally unpredictable.

Amrita said that she couldn’t believe that someone has actually gone through something so tragic.

The actor mentioned that her biggest learning from the series is that the story is really inspirational and it makes you realize that life is not a bed of roses and it is really how you make the most of what you have.

36. How was your experience shooting during pandemic and lockdown?

Amrita said that it was really different seeing everyone wearing masks on the sets. She added that she also feared when people came close to her or when there were a lot of people in a single room.

37.How is it shooting with Amit Sadh?

The Jeet Ki Zidd actor said that it is very intense as he is an intense personality. She added that he also pushed her to give her best on-screen which was really great. She said that at times when she found it difficult to do a scene, he really motivated her to give her best.

38.One thing you admire about Amit Sadh?

Amrita Puri said that she has known Amit Sadh for quite a long now. However, one thing she wants his female fans to know is that he is single and he really wants to settle soon.

39.How similar or different your character from Jaya is?

The actor mentioned that they are quite similar and different at the same time. She added that Jaya is full of life, exuberant, and never gives straight answers, this is where they are similar. However, Jaya is more courageous than her, though Puri said she is a strong personality but not as courageous as her.

Amrita Puri said that her Jeet Ki Zid moment was when she knew she has established herself as an actor. The time when she was offered Aisha and after that, she continued to work and now when she did the amazing series – Jeet Ki Zid.

42. What was the most challenging scene to shoot?

Amrita said that the most challenging scene was when Deep was depressed and gives up, this is when Jaya comes out of character and challenges him by showing him the mirror.
