Actor Arjun Kapoor recently sat for an interview and spilled a lot of beans, much to the delight of his fans. He talked about his latest film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in which he shared screen space with actress Parineeti Chopra. The duo was first seen together in the film Ishaqzaade which marked their debut. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is a black comedy-drama directed by Bibakar Banerjee. Read on.

He revealed in the interview that he is always up for doing different kind of roles. He also added that through Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar he wanted to remind people of the actor he is. ‘Sometimes it is nice to remind people that you are a good actor and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar did that..’ he said while explaining how the performance of an actor is not appreciated enough in case the film does not do well.

He was also asked about his health issues and how he is dealing with them. While he refrained from talking about this subject much, he said, ‘I am fine. I am fighting fit, I am giving 200% of positive energy and I am coping really well with my body, mind, everything. That all is going well but there is a journey, you know? People go through highs and lows even health-wise….mental, physical in all aspects.’
When asked about how personal life affects the professional choices of a person, Kapoor said ‘a lot.’ He added, ‘I was 26 when I chose to do Aurangzeb or Gunday. Today I am going to turn 36 and my choices will be different because I have seen life differently. I have been through more highs and lows.’
He was also asked if he’ll be seen with Ranveer Singh on-screen anytime soon. In response, he said, ‘We both would love to. We are constantly in touch and we both behave as silly as always. In the next couple of years, you may never know something good might come…’
