ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨFrom rib-tickling dialogues in Comali to the gut-wrenching ones in Meka Suri, here are a few dialogues from web series and movies that released in 2020.
While Meka Suri had a few dialogues that could give you nightmares for days, Comali had dialogues that made you laugh till your stomach hurt. Counting down to some of the most iconic dialogues of the year, here is a list of movies and series with dialogues that will be remembered forever!
1) Comali- “Naga Chaitanya la ready avtau ankunte, Nageswar Rao la ready ayyavu!”
When translated, it reads: I thought you would dress up like Naga Chaitanya but you dressed up like Nageswar Rao. Pointing towards the outdated dressing sense that Ravi has, Yogi Babu stole the show with this dialogue in Comali and we couldn’t stop chuckling!
2) Meka Suri- “Nenu naaku tappa inkevariki maryada ivvanu”
The Meka Suri franchise accounts for one of the most iconic villains, of which Gopal Rao and Krishna Rao are a part. This powerful dialogue which means, “I don’t respect anyone but me” had a deep impact on the audiences in marking the character. We’re sure you remember this dialogue if you’ve watched the film.

3)Meka Suri 2 – Nenu Kathi theeskosthe, meeru gun theeskocharu. Ade nenu gun theeskosthe!?
Apart from the pacey editing in the movies, the Meka Suri franchise was also packed with powerful dialogues, especially when it came to the protagonist Suri. The dialogue means, “When I got a knife, you got your guns. What if I bring a gun?” The dialogue got everyone on the edge of their seats as Meka Suri said it.
4) Shoot-out At Alair- Akhtar anedi oka peru nunchi oka ideology ayipoindi. Ee stage lone aa ideology ni samadhi cheyali ani fix ayyipoyenvu. Yevaru addu vachina sare!
“Akhtar went from being a name to an ideology now. We’re planning on putting away this ideology to the grave. No matter who objects to it!” was one of the most gripping lines from the series . This dialogue was delivered by IG Praveen Chand and we see a small transformation in his character here.

5) 47 days – Indhi lo unna prati okkadni baitiki laguthanu
Satyadev, who also played the role of Raghuram in Meka Suri, delivered a short dialogue with the utmost gusto. It conveyed his emotions in just a few words and when translated, it means “I will bring out everyone involved in it”. He says this with confusion and frustration and showed us the talent he has!
6) Amrutharamam- Prema lo santoshale kadu, thyagalu kuda bhagame.
Amrutha, the female protagonist says a simple yet unforgettable line which means “In love, not only happiness but even sorrows partake in the journey.” It is things like these that are most forgotten but dialogues like these remind it to us!
