Taking to her IG story, Rhea Kapoor penned down an important message during the festive occasion of Diwali and mentioned how the tradition of bursting crackers is ‘outdated’ and an ‘irresponsible’ celebration.
They mentioned that celebrating Diwali with diyas and rangolis is okay but, bursting crackers is outdated and grossly ignorant.
Rhea Kapoor has already wished her fans a Happy Diwali and posted a lovely picture on her gram for the same. Her photos are simply amazing and her IG feed receives immense love and appreciation from her Instafam.
Last month, Rhea had requested brands to not approach her for Karwa Chauth because she and her husband Karan Bolani do not believe in the festival. She added how she doesn’t believe in Karwa Chauth but, the ones who are celebrating it can continue doing so. She concluded by saying that she does not want to promote something she doesn’t believe in.
In return, netizens had trolled her heavily for her remarks and called her ‘silly’. To this Rhea had said that random strangers who are having a strong aggressive need to call her silly, she said that she doesn’t care about it and ended up telling her fans to enjoy her day.
