Dol Jatra 2021: Throwback to Paoli Dam, Ritabhari Chakraborty, and other actors drenched in colours!

The festival of colours is right around the corner, and we can barely wait. Every year, our favourite Bengali actors celebrate the occasion with near and dear ones and share glimpses on social media. As we await Dol Jatra 2021, let us take a look at some of the beautiful pictures from previous years, where our favourite actors have shown us how to enjoy the festival to its fullest.

Koushani Mukherjee

Actress Koushani Mukherjee celebrated the festival of colours in 2020 with her family and posted many photos and videos on her Instagram handle. She was seen with her boyfriend Bonny Sengupta as they posed for a selfie with their face full of aabir. In her series of photos, the Biye.com actress posted one photo taken before the celebration and many after she literally took a colour bath.

Parno Mitra 

The Chokher Bali actress shared a candid photo and wished her fans on the occasion of Dol in 2020. In the photo, she is seen wearing a white sleeveless kurti along with a tie-dyed dupatta. She has her hands up in defence trying to protect herself from the shower of colours and has a cute smile that tells us she was thoroughly enjoying her day.

Subhashree Ganguly 

Famous director and producer of Parineeta, Raj Chakraborty shared a glimpse of his simple yet romantic Dol with his wife Subhashree Ganguly in 2020. The couple can be seen in casual clothes as they smile for the camera with aabir on their faces. Last year, the couple became proud parents to their son Yuvaan and we cannot wait to see them celebrate Dol with their bundle of joy.

Ritabhari Chakraborty

Actress Ritabhari Chakraborty has a very different way of celebrating Dol. She spent the festival of colours with students from Ideal School for the Deaf. The Shesh Theke Shuru actress shared a video where she can be seen surrounded by the children as she very affectionately applies colours on their cheeks. Ritabhari has been associated with Ideal School for the Deaf for many years and often spends time with the children there.

Paoli Dam 

Paoli Dam delighted her fans in 2020 with a special Dol photoshoot where she looked gorgeous covered in different colours. The Kaali actress posted multiple photos on her Instagram account where she was wearing a white cotton saree with oxidised pieces of jewellery. From making a garland to playing with different colours, we got a glimpse of her playful and jolly nature.

Priyanka Sarkar 

Actress Priyanka Sarkar celebrated her 2019 Dol with her friends from the film industry. She enjoyed the festival to its fullest and she was seen drenched in coloured water and aabir. The Abby Sen actress spent the day with her friends, influencer Sayantani Guha Thakurta, photographer Tathagata Ghosh and Debjyoti Ghosh. We hope this year also we get to see Priyanka covered in colour for Dol Jatra.
