Geet Dholi 09 September 2022 Written Update: Geet sets out for the competition

In the previous episode of Geet Dholi, Geet and Malhar visit the mental facility to thank Dr Prerna for helping Geet out. Dr Prerna modestly praises Geet and tells Malhar that she was only doing her duty. Geet sends Malhar out to get a cup of tea and asks Dr Prerna about any difficulties following her disappearance. Just then, the police storm into Dr Prerna’s cabin and complain about Dr Prerna running a racket of counterfeit medicines. Geet stands quietly behind Dr Prerna as the police look through the doctor’s cabin. The police fail to find any leads against Dr Prerna and Geet asks the police to search Dr Ahuja’s cabin. The police find counterfeit medicines in Dr Ahuja’s cabin and Geet plays an audio of Dr Ahuja’s conversation with Sanjay. Soon, Dr Ahuja gets arrested and Dr Prerna thanks Geet for saving her. Geet empathises with the patients in the mental facility and Dr Prerna. Soon, Avtar Kishan calls JK and reminds him about Geet’s competition.

In the next episode of Geet Dholi, Avtar Kishan tells Malhar that he will have to bring Geet for the competition on time or Geet might get disqualified from the competition. Malhar promises to ensure Geet’s timely participation but Gauri Shankar plans to sabotage Geet’s bid to perform at the Rhythm Competition. JK tells Malhar that he wishes to stay alone as Malhar asks JK to join the family. Geet interjects and asks JK to move to the outhouse if he wishes to stay alone. An enraged Rocky asks Geet to mind her tongue. Soon, the rest of the family walk into JK’s room and ask him to have his lunch. JK refuses to have his lunch despite Kammo’s insistence. Well along, Geet and JK have a heated yet humorous exchange. Tanya tries to cool off the heated argument but Rocky tries to instigate JK. Malhar gives Rocky his piece of mind and Geet forces a sweet into JK’s mouth as Rocky objects.

JK has the sweet and expresses his disappointment in Geet. Just then, Geet breaks down and states her plight to JK in a bid to make amends with him. However, JK refuses to heed Geet’s emotions on the outside but feels her pain deeply. Malhar begs JK to make amends with Geet and join the family for lunch. JK instead tells Geet that his heart wouldn’t melt with Geet’s tears. Geet announces that she would not have lunch unless JK has his meal. Lahouran notices Geet’s pain as she stretches her hand to lift JK’s plate. She asks Geet if she would be able to participate in the competition. Geet pledges to compete and win the competition for the sake of her teachers as well as her family. Akash gets the dhol for Geet and asks her to play it. Though in pain, Geet plays the dhol with fervour and earns praises. Soon enough, Tanya surprises Lahouran with her demeanour and Geet prays to ace the competition. Geet starts second-guessing her abilities as she sets out for the competition. Akash and Tanya encourage Geet alongside others.
