Gudi Padwa Special: Throwback To When Pavitra Rishta’s Archana-Manav Celebrated This Auspicious Festival With Their Kids In Pavitra Rishta

We can all agree that Manav-Archana’s chemistry in the Zee TV show Pavitra Rishta was one of the best on-screen relationships we have seen. They faced so many challenges and yet managed to stay together and have their happily ever after. They belonged to a Maharashtrian family and so the festival of Gudi Padwa called for a grand celebration every time. As the festival is around the corner, here’s a throwback to when Manav (Hiten Tejwani) and Archana (Ankita Lokhande) celebrated Gudi Padwa with their kids in Pavitra Rishta.
In the Gudi Padwa special episode, Archana and Manav decorate their house with garlands. The duo also did an aarti outside their house on the balcony where Manav lit the diya while Archana held the plate for pooja. They later raise the Gudi outside their home and their son Sachin joins them for the same. Sulochana Tai, Archana’s mother, and her father also celebrated this festival with Archana-Manav at their residence. Purvi also joined Archana-Manav and Sachin for the Gudi Padwa celebration and they enjoyed a delicious meal of Puran Poli, Sheera, and Shrikhand together.
During the shoot of this episode, the media was invited on the sets of Pavitra Rishta to get a glimpse of all the decorations and how the festival would be celebrated in the show. Ankita Lokhande had also sent in wishes and mentioned that as Archana she wants everyone to be happy in her family and there should be no disputes.
Talking about the celebration of Gudi Padwa in her own house, Ankita Lokhande mentioned that since her childhood the festival is celebrated with utter dedication and joy. Hiten Tejwani also cracked a joke and asked the reporters to enjoy the feast on the sets during the festival of Gudi Padwa. Lokhande also explained the importance of Gudi which is hanged outside the house and said that it absorbs all the negativity coming inside the house.
