TVF Pitchers is one of the best and the most inspirational mini web series made in India. It revolves around the story of how four friends begin working for their start-up and what challenges they face in getting funding. TVF’s sister channel, TSP (The Screen Patti), had also made a web series that walked on similar lines – four guys trying to make their start-up work – titled, Zeroes. And while they have a similar subject, here is how TVF Pitchers and TSP Zeroes differ from each other.
TVF Pitchers came out in June 2015, and starred Naveen Kasturia, Jitendra Kumar, Arunabh Kumar, and Abhay Mahajan in the lead roles, with Maanvi Gagroo, Aakanksha Thakur, Sunil Sinha, and Biswapati Sarkar playing supporting roles. TVF Pitchers has five episodes, each about 35-40 minutes long. The series is a well-written and inspiring journey of four friends and how they battle every challenge that comes their way to make their one dream work. It also shows a series of sacrifices that each one of the friends makes in their personal lives for their entire group’s dream.
On the other hand, TSP Zeroes is a completely comical approach to the idea of four guys opening a start-up, which at times also feels like a parody of the idea. However, after the first half of its run, the mini-series does take a bit of a serious turn and shows how the characters deal with their failure. Zeroes stars Badri Chavan, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhinav Anand, and Jasmeet Singh Bhatia in the lead roles, with Arun Kushwah and Rajendra Chawla in supporting roles. Zeroes has three episodes, each about 15-20 minutes long.

While TVF Pitchers serves as a perfect motivational watch with elements of humour, Zeroes can be watched for comical relief and laid back sketch. There is also a scene in Zeroes, where one 0f the main characters is watching TVF Pitchers to get the required motivation for his start-up.
TVF Pitchers is one of the earliest web series by TVF, which has aged very well with the audience. Till today the series is highly talked about and has an IMDb rating of 9.1/10 (8.8/10 worldwide) and in IMDb’s list of top 250 series in the world, it stands at rank 44.
Both Pitchers and Zeroes have great performances in them by their actors and both the shows are also directed well. They also have a high recall value, like most of TVF’s shows and sketches.
TVF Pitchers and TSP Zeroes will start streaming on ZEE5 very soon.
