Independence Day 2020: Shubhra, Saumitra, And Other Contemporary Characters Who Have Indian Values At Heart

Independence Day 2020 is an auspicious upcoming day of celebration. But this year just like every other festival, Independence Day will have to be spent in the house. And how do we exactly rejoice over a day of pride and honour for our country by not mingling with our fellow countrymen? This is why you must read this! It is not necessary that you should follow the same routine every year, you must step along with the current progressive state of the country. If you absolutely can’t visit a flag hoisting, celebrate Independence Day in your home. And to give you a bit of courage, here are a few characters who have Indian values at heart but are progressive in reality!

1. Saumitra from Mazhya Navryachi Bayko

As per the current scenario, he is trying to be a better father too! Abhijeet is extremely progressive when it comes to daily life. He has married Asawari without any terms or conditions. He has also been supportive and has patiently made Asawari learn a few things. Abhijeet is a true Indian who knows that women’s empowerment is the need of the hour!

3. Shubhra from Agga Bai Sasubai 

Asawari’s daughter-in-law Shubhra takes care of everyone. She tries to be just like Asawari, she looks after Ajoba and his dietary requirements as well. She also regularly keeps a check on Asawari as a daughter must. But Shubhra is also a very progressive and teaches her husband Soham a lesson or two when necessary.

4. Radhika from Mazhya Navryachi Bayko

Radhika is an entrepreneur who knows how to run a successful business (like Radhika Masale or SB Group of Companies). But she also takes care of a household and everyone in it. Radhika is a true example of the new Indian woman!
