The actor made her movie debut with the film Bhoomi Kosam, which released in the year 1974 in the Telugu language. Jaya Prada has worked in a variety of successful films, one of which is the 1984 blockbuster Tohfa. In this film, she shared the screen space with leading actors like Jeetendra and Sridevi.
