Jibon Saathi’s Sankalpa surely knows how to make a rocky relationship work, here’s how

Zee Bangla’s popular serial Jibon Saathi stars Diya Basu as Priyam, Sayan Karmakar as Sankalpa and Shrabani Bhunia as Jhelum in the lead roles. Sankalpa and Priyam had a very rocky marriage since the beginning because Sankalpa used to like Priyam’s sister Jhelum but Jhelum did not reciprocate his feelings, and the circumstances led Priyam to marry Sankalpa. Initially, he disliked her as he was forced to marry Priyam. But with time, he became fond of Priyam and started developing feelings for her. He has put in quite a lot of effort into the relationship and he surely knows how to convert a difficult relationship to one full of love.

The trust factor

Trust is a very important aspect of a relationship and Sankalpa has always trusted Priyam in every situation. Even when his own family members stood up against Priyam, he stood tall beside her and said that he trusted her. When all members of the Banerjee family accused Priyam of burning Selai Textile’s showroom, Sankalpa refused to believe them and took matters into his own hands in order to prove her innocence.

Efforts are important!

Although members of the Banerjee family never appreciated Priyam’s effort for the family, Priyam has continued to work for the betterment of the family. Even after multiple challenges by Salankara and Subhash, she has never caused any harm to Sankalpa’s family. Unlike his family who turned a blind eye to Priyam’s efforts, Sankalpa has always acknowledged them and has even encouraged his family to do the same.

An apology goes a long way

It is very hard for anybody to acknowledge their mistake and apologise for it. Sankalpa is not like that as he has always accepted his mistakes and has apologised to Priyam whenever he was wrong. During Dol, he visited her and the moment he saw her, he apologised for misunderstanding her intentions towards Salankara and believing Subhash and Suparna’s words.

Priyam has always dreamt of having her own business and opening a showroom just like Selai Textiles. But she has faced numerous troubles on her way to fulfill her dreams. Initially, Sankalpa used to think that she was aiming at snatching the family business from his mother, Salankara, but with time he understood that Priyam has no evil intentions and that she just wants to fulfill her own dream with hard work and labour. Since then, Sankalpa has always supported Priyam and has helped her grow from strength to strength.
