Jothe Jotheyali 3 November 2021 Written Update: Diwali celebration at Pushpa’s chawl

In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Pushpa, along with the women in the chawl, performs the water filling ritual and prays to the vessel containing the water. Anu and Aryavardhan arrive at Subbu’s house, wherein after spending a night, Anu teases Aryavardhan about his snoring habit. Later, the chawl residents gather for the oil bathing ceremony.

In the next episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Aryavardhan is surprised when the women in the chawl ask him to remove his t-shirt so that Anu can apply oil to him. Subbu teases Aryavardhan when he hesitates to do the same in front of the chawl’s residents. On everyone’s insistence, Anu tries to convince Aryavardhan for the same and reminds him about how she had wished for the same during the last Diwali. Everyone cheers when at Anu’s request, Aryavardhan agrees for the oil-bathing ceremony.

Anu asks Aryavardhan to relax when he feels shy. Subbu tells Aryavardhan about the importance of the oil bath on which he teases Anu. The women of the chawl apply oil to their respective partners and watch adoringly when Anu gives Aryavardhan an oil bath. After the ritual, Anu helps Pushpa prepare Diwali special snacks. Sampath and Aryavardhan praise the same due to their amazing fragrance. Subbu teases Pushpa when Anu supports Aryavardhan when Pushpa asks him to cook.

Anu and Aryavardhan are surprised when Subbu and Pushpa make them take a seat and smile looking at them. Subbu praises Aryavardhan and states how he feels lucky to have him as his son-in-law and gives him a gold ring and Anu a gold necklace. Anu and Aryavardhan thank Subbu and Pushpa for their kind gesture, leaving them emotional. Furthermore, Anu and Aryavardhan, along with the residents of the chawl, burst crackers and celebrate the Diwali festival. The next day, Mansi remains stern about her decision of dividing the property and asks Harshavardhan to talk to Sharada Devi about the same.
