Kumkum Bhagya: Here’s Why We Feel Vikram Kohli Is The Perfect Father For Children In Today’s Generation

Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya has been on air on the channel for many years now. This family drama daily soap has enjoyed very high TRP ratings from the time that it had premiered. The focus of the Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia starrer television drama has always been Pragya and Abhi’s love story but, the Kumkum Bhagya episodes turned towards a different plot when Pragya and Abhi separated. This show has now taken a leap of two decades and the focus of the show has now become the lives of Prachi, Rhea, and Ranbir, who come from completely different backgrounds. Here’s why we think that Ranbir is lucky because Vikram Kohli is the perfect father to have for children in today’s generation. Read further ahead to know more about Vikram Kohli as a father.

Vikram Kohli has always been very open with his son Ranbir and has always taught him the right ways to do things. Even though he is Ranbir’s father, he has never used this in order to dictate Ranbir into doing things his way and has always given Ranvir the freedom to make his own choices. Even though the Kohli family was not happy when Ranbir confessed that he loves Prachi, Vikram did not insult Prachi like Pallavi and dida, and respected Ranbir’s choice and liking towards Prachi.

When the Kohli family came to know that Prachi and Ranbir have done an engagement with each other, Pallavi locks Ranbir in his room and dares him to meet Prachi. When Ranbir gets fumed and says that he will break the door, Vikram explains to Pallavi that this is not the way to deal with children. He asks Pallavi to unlock Ranbir as things will get out of hand otherwise. In fact, Vikram himself goes forward to unlock Ranbir’s door because he feels that this is not the right way to treat their son.

When Pallavi is in the ICU and asks Ranbir to forget Prachi and marry Rhea, Ranbir says “yes” as he feels helpless. It is then when Vikram explains to Ranbir that if he will take this big decision out of pressure, then he will regret it his whole life. Vikram tells Ranbir that he should only do what his heart says, regardless of what anybody else wants. Vikram Kohli tries to explain Pallavi too about what she is doing with Ranbir is not right.
